Scott is a Vice President, Business Development, where he is responsible for sales and business development efforts for the firm. His role includes working closely with prospective customers to assess needs and recommend the right solutions from AEGIS. Prior to joining AEGIS, Scott was with Emission Advisors, where he brokered environmental commodity trades and consulted clients on various emissions-related needs. Prior to this, he spent five years as the Director, Emissions & Carbon for Element Markets. An emissions market expert, Scott brings over seven years of experience as a broker and advisor that helped his clients execute transactions. With a focus on bringing transparency to markets clouded by complexity, illiquidity, and a lack of public information, Scott works to provide his clients with confidence that they're navigating both environmental and commodity markets effectively.
Scott has extensive experience with the Regional Emissions Markets (ERCs) across the US, California Cap and Trade, RGGI, RECLAIM, the Greater Houston MECT and HECT programs, and CSAPR.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Multinational Business from Florida State University, where he minored in French. On Saturdays in the Fall, college football is his #1 priority. He also enjoys RC trucks, outdoor activities, and traveling home to visit his family in Alabama.
