Jon is a Vice President of Physical Technology, developing and implementing new systems to better track and super charge the data associated with the physical production and marketing of Oil & Gas. Jon enjoys finding ways to help customers optimize their business analytics and make data driven decisions to evaluate current operations, negotiate better deals, and strategize the future deployment of capital, maximizing their ROI.

Prior to joining AEGIS, Jon began his career as a United States Marine, serving 9 years, initially as an Unmanned Aerial System Avionics Technician and later as an instructor in the joint Army/Marine Corps UAS schoolhouse. After leaving the Marine Corps, Jon spent some time working at the family business constructing playgrounds and working as an avionics technician upgrading avionics suites on many different military aviation platforms.

In 2013, Jon made a career switch to Oil and Gas where he spent four years with Access/Williams Midstream scheduling natural gas. Jon joined Ancova Energy in 2017 continuing to schedule natural gas while developing an in-house Contract Management and Marketing system. In 2021, Jon co-developed Ancova View, a product that incorporated contract and marketing data with production and revenue data to create an all-encompassing view of customers’ business from the wellhead to the sales point.

Jon holds a Bachelor and Master of Science Degree in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, as well as a Master of Science in Energy Management from Oklahoma City University.

Outside of work, Jon enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. Outside of attending the many kids’ activities and sports, Jon likes wood and metal working on the never-ending list of projects around the house and restoring his 1959 Ford pickup.
