Associate - Customer Success
This role provides real-time support to customer management teams, investors, lenders, and auditors in the maintenance, valuation, reconciliation, and reporting of their hedge portfolios. The candidate must by analytically inclined and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position will be based in The Woodlands, TX and reports to the Director, Customer Success.
Job Requirements:
- Interact daily with AEGIS customers to enable effective use of the AEGIS technology Platform and provide ongoing back-office support.
- Work with colleagues across AEGIS in the maintenance, valuation, reconciliation, and reporting of client hedge portfolios;
- Work with financial institutions in the ongoing delivery of electronic confirmations, settlements, and technology utilization;
- Perform unique data analysis and reporting that drives insight for clients and AEGIS; and
- Influence AEGIS’ technology direction by applying real-world experience to the technology roadmap.
Critical Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (required); emphasis in Business, Finance and/or Mathematics preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and a fondness for data;
- Proficiency in all major Microsoft Office programs, with heavy emphasis on Excel;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of financial modeling and reporting capabilities;
- Demonstrated performance in situations requiring significant analysis and organization; and
- Experience with ETRM software and/or BI platforms and/or related programming languages (Python, R, etc.) a plus.

Associate, Trading
This role provides a unique opportunity for someone new to energy trading, as you will rapidly receive responsibility and progression into client responsibility; intensive training on commodity trading and risk; mentorship by senior trading, risk, and analyst teammates; exposure to not just execution, but also back-office and mid-office systems; and ultimately be on the forefront of trading technology in over-the-counter commodity trading.
Position: Energy Trading - Associate Level
This role implements the hedge strategies through specific trades as defined in conjunction with our clients. This role is active in the oil and gas markets each day, understanding price and volatility movements and interacting with counterparties to ensure efficient trade execution according to the individualized hedge policy and strategy.
Critical Skills/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- Strong written, verbal, and listening skills
- Proficiency in all major Microsoft Office programs, with a heavy emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint with experience creating complex formulas
- Working knowledge of financial modeling and reporting capabilities
- Demonstrated performance in situations requiring significant analysis and organization
- Previous experience with CMS and/or BI platforms and/or portfolio risk and valuation software (CTRM, ETRM), and risk principles (VAR, CFAR, Mark-to-Market, option valuation) is a plus
- Experience negotiating commercial contracts with emphasis on commodities prices
- Ability to operate and execute in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Bloomberg, Reuters, and/or other market data tools (preferred)
- Upstream or downstream energy industry experience (highly regarded)

Position: Business Development Representative (BDR) - Associate Level
AEGIS Hedging Solutions is seeking a results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to actively create new business opportunities, engage and build relationships, and qualify potential customers. The BDR will support a specific industry vertical sales team to help boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition and profitability. In this role, you will work closely with the industry vertical sales leader to qualify and nurture target prospects and introduce AEGIS’ suite of hedging advisory services and our five-time award-winning technology. The BDR will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of AEGIS’ go-to-market message, providing timely follow-up, and promptly scheduling introductory and technology demonstration meetings as well as maintaining AEGIS Hedging’s CRM.
Job Requirements:
- Proven lead generation as a sales professional
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales prospecting techniques like cold calling, cold emailing, and social media (LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, etc.) outreach
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record of achieving sales quotas
- Fair understanding of sales performance metrics
- Must possess strong prospecting, communication, listening and negotiation skills
- Good interpersonal, time management, organizational, and leadership skills
- Exceptional research skills

- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Teams, etc.
