The People & Workplace Experience Manager leads the end‑to‑end employee experience at AEGIS Hedging, including recruiting, onboarding, development, performance management, engagement, and workplace operations. This role partners closely with leadership and a Professional Employer Organization (PEO) to support a high‑performing, connected, and well‑supported workplace.
The role combines strategic responsibility with hands‑on execution, and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment and is passionate about building a strong culture while supporting day‑to‑day business needs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts, including job descriptions, interviews, offers, and candidate management
- Own and continuously improve the candidate experience from outreach through onboarding
- Manage onboarding processes, including first 90-day plans and feedback collection
- Implement performance review cycles and support managers with feedback and coaching practices
- Develop and execute employee engagement and retention initiatives
- Support employees and managers throughout the employee lifecycle with guidance and coaching
- Partner with the PEO on benefits administration, policy implementation, and consistent HR practices
- Maintain and update company policies and people processes
- Oversee workplace and office operations, including vendors, supplies, food and beverage, and general office needs
- Plan and execute company events such as all company meetings, happy hours, and team events; partner with the CFO on annual planning and budget
- Manage day-to-day office logistics, including visitors, conference rooms, shipping, and administrative coordination
- Provide cross-functional administrative and client/vendor support as needed
Critical Skills/Qualifications
- 3-7 years of professional experience;
- Strong experience in recruiting, onboarding, and development;
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred;
- Ability to coach executives, managers, and employees;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office;
- Experience in high-growth environments preferred;
- Comfortable with both strategy and execution;
- Strong organizational and communication skills;
- Team first mindset; and
- Ability to challenge traditional thinking.
