GIS:
- Develop ETL/FME workbenches or scripts for pipeline class location analysis, one call/811 submittals, energy market analysis, dedication mapping, gas and crude production data, drilling schedules.
- Prepare, QC and submit pipeline corridors to various one call/811 state agencies.
- Digitize multiple and varied datasets such as survey and as-built data, land deeds, gas marketing contracts, dedicated leaseholds, competitor assets, and potential investments opportunities.
- Determine customer needs for vendor data and negotiate contracts.
- Pull crude and gas pricing, basis differentials, well lateral lengths, permits, leases, rigs and production to summarize industry trends in multiple basins for analysis and mapping.
- Investigate alternative geospatial products for internal/external customers, gather customer requirements, design schema/databases, and build required models for data creation/management.
- Create and manage ArcGIS Online webmaps or alternatives for internal and external customers.
- QC, prep and publish monthly GIS data such as Rextag infrastructure packages, gas and crude production data, acreage dedications.
- Georeference external imaging to digitize data.
- PDF map creation for client and commercial/business development teams.
Required Experience:
- 2-5+ years of oil and gas experience
- 2+ years of GIS experience
- Familiarity with gas and crude gathering operations:
- drilling operations
- gathering agreements
- pipeline construction
- pipeline maintenance
- gas/crude pricing and markets
- gas/crude scheduling
- state OneCall regulatory requirements
- industry data vendors
- Experience with building and maintaining geospatial ecosystem:
- SQL, Python, VBScript, Arcade
- Converting datatypes: shp, kmz/kml, fgdb, sde, dwg, etc.
- Schema design and data standardization
- ETL & scripting, such as python, FME
- Experience with ESRI suite: ArcPro, ArcGIS, AGOL (Experience builder, Survey123, Navigator, etc.)
- Georeferencing images/external maps for data extraction
- Thorough knowledge of federal and state land surveying methodology and data: PLSS, spanish land grants, metes and bounds, etc. States you will mostly be working with: OK, KS, NM, NE, ND, WY, CO, TX, LA, OH, WV, PA
