Sales Engineer
This role will focus on communicating AEGIS’ technology and advisory solutions to prospective customers to drive top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition and profitability. You will be at the forefront of customer interactions, conducting assessments, preparing presentations, and delivering compelling product demonstrations. Your primary objective is to help customers understand the value of our solutions. Bridge the knowledge gap between product and sales to ensure that the solutions being offered meet the technical and business needs of potential clients.
Responsibilities
- Support sales team by conducting initial assessments of customer organizations to identify user needs and system requirements.
- Conduct curated product demonstrations, presentations and proposals highlighting features and benefits tailored to the client's needs.
- Relay client feedback and market insights to the product development team to inform product enhancements and development.
- Provides sales support including, but not limited to answering specific product related questions, providing initial pricing on standard products and lead time information for their designated opportunities
- Train the sales team on new products and technologies to enhance their understanding and sales capabilities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies.
- Manage multiple presales engagements simultaneously, ensuring each opportunity receives the necessary attention and resources.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a sales engineer and more specifically, ETRM/CTRM sales
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Microsoft Teams, etc.
- Familiarity with HubSpot and CRM best practices
- Smart problem solver and ability to quickly grasp prospect requirements
- Ability to build productive business professional relationships
- Ability to collaborate cross functionally with other departmental stakeholders
- Excellent presentation and executive engagement skills
- Superb written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of SaaS landscape
- BS/BA degree or equivalent
