The EIA reported a build of +6,156 MBbls in U.S. crude-oil inventories. The build was larger than the average estimate of +32 Mbls as reported by Bloomberg. Inventories for the U.S. are now at a surplus of 12.30 MMBbls (2.8%) to last year, and a deficit of 10.00 MMBbls (-2.2%) to the five-year average.
