The EIA reported a build of +8,530 MBbls in U.S. crude-oil inventories. The build was larger than the average estimate of +3,054 as reported by Bloomberg. Inventories for the U.S. are now at a deficit of 150.00 MMBbls (-3.3%) to last year, and a surplus of 454.90 MMBbls (11.4%) to the five-year average.
