EIA reported a build of 53 Bcf for the week ending 9/18/2026. This was larger than the median estimate of 51 Bcf. Today's stat fell within the expected range, which was 58 Bcf on the more bearish end, and 35 Bcf on the more bullish end.
Inventories for the US are now at a deficit of 146 Bcf to last year and a surplus of 95 Bcf to the five-year average.
