EIA reported a build of 30 Bcf for the week ending 8/28/2026. This was smaller than the median estimate of 31 Bcf. Today's stat fell within the expected range, which was 36 Bcf on the more bearish end, and 21 Bcf on the more bullish end.
Inventories for the US are now at a deficit of 50 Bcf to last year and a surplus of 160 Bcf to the five-year average.
