EIA reported a build of 36 Bcf for the week ending 8/06/2026. This was larger than the median estimate of 31 Bcf. Today's stat fell within the expected range, which was 37 Bcf on the more bearish end, and 26 Bcf on the more bullish end.
Inventories for the US are now at a deficit of 25 Bcf to last year and a surplus of 198 Bcf to the five-year average.
