EIA reported a build of 32 Bcf for the week ending 7/17/2026. This was smaller than the median estimate of 34 Bcf. Today's stat fell within the expected range, which was 39 Bcf on the more bearish end, and 20 Bcf on the more bullish end.
Inventories for the US are now at a deficit of 16 Bcf to last year and a surplus of 183 Bcf to the five-year average.
