EIA reported a build of 87 Bcf for the week ending 6/26/2026. This was larger than the median estimate of 84 Bcf. Today's stat fell outside the expected range, which was 86 Bcf on the more bearish end, and 66 Bcf on the more bullish end.
Inventories for the US are now at a deficit of 23 Bcf to last year and a surplus of 175 Bcf to the five-year average.
