EIA reported a build of 101 Bcf for the week ending 5/21/2026. This was larger than the median estimate of 96 Bcf. Today's stat fell within the expected range, which was 101 Bcf on the more bearish end, and 89 Bcf on the more bullish end.
Inventories for the US are now at a surplus of 33 Bcf to last year and a surplus of 149 Bcf to the five-year average.
