EIA reported a draw of -119 Bcf for the week ending 1/02/2026. This was larger than the median estimate of -113 Bcf. Today's stat fell within the expected range, which was -106 Bcf on the more bearish end, and -131 Bcf on the more bullish end.
Inventories for the US are now at a deficit of 123 Bcf to last year and a surplus of 31 Bcf to the five-year average.
