Rob Sabo

Director, Interest Rate Trading

Rob joined AEGIS in 2020 to lead the firm’s interest rate strategy and execution capabilities. Rob has spent over 25 years in interest rate derivatives across all aspects of risk management and execution. Prior to joining AEGIS, Rob served as Executive Director at Rabobank where he was responsible for providing interest rate and commodity advisory and derivative hedging product solutions for the global bank’s domestic food production and agricultural client base.

Before joining Rabobank, Rob spent over 20 years in interest rates, foreign exchange, and commodity consulting and derivatives hedging. This includes leadership roles covering a broad range of middle market and large corporate clientele across a multitude of industries with firms such as HedgeWerks Risk Management, ABN AMRO/LaSalle Bank, and CIBC.

Rob graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Business Economics from the University of Michigan and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Chicago.

Outside of the office, Rob enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, skiing, carpentry, and is an avid University of Michigan and Detroit sports fan.
